Prince Gorilla in the Loire Valley

Gorilla is spotted in the beautiful Loire valley - posing in front of castles and (if I may hazard a guess....) probably sipping on some lovely wine. C'est charmant!

Vive la Gorilla!

I admit it. I have SERIOUSLY neglected Gorilla's Blog. But he's in Paris now and I will deal with my insane jealousy by documenting his trip.

Stop #1 was, of course, the Eiffel Tower. How can you not LOVE the Eiffel Tower?? Of course, we sort of have to just take her word for it that Gorilla is in her hand, because I can't see him. Can you?

Then Gorilla decided to see the Mona Lisa - here's Mona Gorilla at the world's most famous painting. Although, as one of his fans pointed out, he's not much of an art afficionado since his back is to the painting...

Here he is at the Palais de Justice (as you read that, you must think it with the proper accent....)

Gorilla takes on WDW

Gorilla had SUCH a good time at Walt Disney World. Here are a few highlights from the trip!
Gorilla's keeper simply adores France, so she could not resist the purchase of a little Parisienne Minne Mouse in Epcot...here's Gorilla hanging with Minnie...


Gorilla was also thrilled to find out that he is of Japanese lineage. Here he is in the department store in the Japan section of Epcot, with his kin. The daughter of Gorilla's keeper found these lovely guys...


At the Magic Kingdom, Gorilla pulled the Sword from the Stone. After he succeeded in that feat, the crowds went wild so, as you might imagine, I was not able to capture an image of the actual moment that he was crowned King of England.


Finally, Tinker Bell fell in love with Gorilla. Here she is, giving him a goodbye kiss...

Guarding the Food at Disney

As a joke...the kids put gorilla into the fridge at Port Orleans Riverside at Disney World. He was later rescued and is safely in the backpack for the trip to EPCOT tomorrow. (whew!)

St. Paddy's Day 2007

Fredericksburg, Tx: Gorilla enjoyed a well-deserved brew with an Irish Girl on St. Patrick's Day - 2007. Gorilla will be spending "St. Paddy's 2009" with this same girl (and her family) at WDW this year.

Searching for Sarah

Gorilla heard a fair bit about Sarah Palin recently, so he went to Alaska to find out more information. He caught sight of Tina Fey and could almost see Russia....but never saw the governor.

Brrr..... it's really cold up there for a Texas gorilla.
